TDR Weather Policy: TDR will go on as planned unless safety dictates otherwise. Please check the Tour de Rock pages on Facebook and Instagram for immediate updates. During the ride, our Ham Radio Operators will be receiving continuous updates from the National Weather Service and will notify Ride Directors of any concerns or weather alerts. If and when Tour de Rock staff decides to “stop, shut down, or postpone” due to a significant weather event, Ham Operators in the field will be notified. Depending on the severity of the storm, SAG wagons will be pulled over and riders will be encouraged to seek shelter. Once the routes are ready to be reopened Ham Operators will notify SAG wagons and rest stop captains. All riders will be warned to be watchful of fallen debris. Riders will be offered SAG wagon pickups if they choose.
